Our foundation is developing a program for the successful implementation of the use of open data (OD) on its own site.
Open data is information that can be used and distributed freely. Information can be created and disseminated by government agencies or come from various organizations. When we talk about open data, it is worth noting that we are interested in impersonal information, that is, something that does not contain a story about individuals.
Why Open Data?
- Availability. ODs are free or cost no more than a reasonable price.
- Machine readability. OA can be used by journalists to create socio-economic or any other scientific research. ODs are usually published in CSV, XML, JSON, ODS, and so on.
- Openness. Every person can use and disseminate OA regardless of the area of application or characteristics such as race, nationality, gender, skin color, religion, and so on.
